Distribution Manager- North America

Verdant Specialty Solutions is hiring a Distribution Manager to help shape and grow our U.S. distribution business. You’ll turn market knowledge and distributor relationships into new customers, stronger partnerships, and profitable growth across our Home & Personal Care, Energy Solutions, and Industrial portfolios.

Remote Midwest, East or Southeast preferred

Travel: Approximately 30–40% domestically, with occasional international travel

What You’ll Own

  • Shape our distribution strategy, identify gaps in market coverage, and help bring the right partners into our network
  • Build relationships with distributor leaders and sales teams, with clear growth plans and accountability for results
  • Open doors to new customers and applications, expand existing accounts, and move opportunities from pipeline to revenue
  • Negotiate agreements and pricing within established authority, protect margins, and use forecasts and performance data to guide decisions
  • Equip distributors to succeed through product launches, technical training, joint customer visits, and collaboration with direct sales
  • Connect commercial, technical, and supply teams to meet customer needs while upholding responsible business and product stewardship practices

What We’re Looking For

  • Five or more years of commercial experience in specialty chemicals, chemical distribution, or related industrial markets
  • Experience managing distributors, channel partners, or strategic accounts, plus a strong understanding of the U.S. specialty chemical market
  • A record of winning business, negotiating commercial agreements, and delivering revenue and margin growth
  • Strong relationship-building and analytical skills, comfort with CRM and reporting tools, and the ability to work independently across teams and time zones
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Marketing, or a related discipline; advanced degree or multinational experience preferred
  • Experience in Home & Personal Care, HI&I, Industrial, Energy, Agriculture, or related specialty chemical markets preferred
