Verdant Specialty Solutions is seeking a Chemical Operator to support safe, reliable, and efficient production at our Liberty, Texas facility. This role is responsible for operating process equipment, monitoring production conditions, and ensuring products are manufactured according to batch instructions, quality standards, and safety requirements.You will work as part of a plant operations team to safely process chemical products, monitor equipment performance, perform basic quality testing, and maintain accurate production records.
This role is based on-site at our manufacturing facility and requires active participation in both indoor and outdoor production environments.

What You’ll Do:
- Operate chemical processing equipment in accordance with batch sheets and established procedures.
- Measure, weigh, and mix chemical materials according to product specifications.
- Monitor process conditions, gauges, and instrumentation to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Collect product samples and perform basic laboratory tests to verify quality standards.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished products from tank trucks, tank cars, drums, and totes.
- Record production data, process information, and equipment readings accurately and completely.
- Set up equipment by operating valves, pumps, and verifying proper line-ups.
- Clean and prepare equipment for maintenance activities.
- Conduct routine plant surveillance and report abnormal operating conditions.
- Operate forklifts, manlifts, cranes, and other assigned material-handling equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate production and documentation.
- Ability to follow written procedures, batch instructions, and operational standards.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand process equipment and systems.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills in a plant environment.
- Ability to stay focused and make sound decisions in a fast-paced production setting.
- Proactive mindset toward safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
What You Bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least one (1) year of experience in a chemical manufacturing, specialty chemicals, or industrial production environment.
- Safety training in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
